FLOWING WELLS EXTENSION PROGRAM (FWEP)
Agency Background: This program was established in 1975 with a mission to enhance the educational process through extracurricular and supplementary activities. In order to combat the "summer slide," FWEP runs an all day enrichment program during May - July called Y.E.S. This program is available to all 5-12 children in the Flowing Wells District.
Focus of the 2010 SCCF Grant: Mad Science & Kidz Art The funding will help to support adding Mad Science and Kidz Art classes in the Y.E.S. program. The classes will be offered Monday through Thursday from May 31 - July 30. Every child who attends the Y.E.S. program will rotate to these fun and exciting classes free.
