EVENTS COMMITTEE CHARTER
Goals and Objectives
- Explore and develop creative ideas for specific fundraising events for the SCCF
- Raise sufficient funds to support the Grants generated by the SCCF
Roles and Responsibilities
- Organize and execute fundraising events
- Determine date and time for events
- Research and contact key individuals and resources specific to the event being planned
- Identify target groups specific to each event
- Develop a plan of action for each event
- Appoint subcommittees to implement action plan
- Establish a financial plan for each event
- Estimated cost of event
- Estimated revenue from event
- Coordinate with facility holding event
- Coordinate with the Communication Committee to publicize event
- Organize staffing for events
- Coordinate tickets, food/beverage, parking, etc with facility at location of event
- Generate recognition and thank you notification to appropriate individuals following the event
- Communicate Events Committee minutes and recommendations to the SCCF Board of Directors and other Committees, as appropriate.
